this is me.
noa maria schlotmann.
born in leonberg germany and raised in mettmann, after finishing high school 2018 i began studying economics and industrial engineering at the karlsruhe institute of technology.
during this time, my need for creative expression grew. the combination of my fascination about naturally emerging structures and my reflection on society's drive for perfection led to the creation of kunstmitkanten and the concept behind it in early 2022.
when i completed my bachelor's degree in 2023, i continued my art, actively creating for a year, organizing exhibitions, and finding a new path.
in 2024, i began my master's degree in design and future making at pforzheim university. now i create interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of design, research, and innovation.
my goal is to reveal the beauty of uncontrollable patterns. the imperfect kunstmitkanten strokes are the beginning, my research projects on natural structures are the continuation, and this vision will develop further in future projects...
in addition to art and research, my creativity also expresses itself in the form of music. as a singer/songwriter, i can be found on streaming platforms around the world under the name “N O A”.
i also organize occasional cultural events and create spaces to connect the local scene.
